Covered

To say that it has been a while since we’ve seen any progress, is an understatement. We have fallen victim to the Christmas seasonal rush and yet another material shortage.

Putting all that behind us Mick, from MJN Constructions, along his worthy helpers, has put the tin roof on the top house.  See the “Our Team” section for Details on MJN Constructions.

We’re just waiting on few more bits of flashing and the gutter guard material to arrive before the roof is complete. That will allow the high level scaffolding to be removed and the next phase of timber framing to commence.

Pipes

Brad Fiori, our chosen plumber, who several months ago, buried the spetics, soak wells and leach drains into the ground, has returned.

His task this time, is to set up the pipework to get the dirty stuff we generate, out of the two houses and to run the pipes to get the hot and cold water in.

A few more pipes to run and Brad will have finished the preliminary piping. After that, we’ll see him again for the fit offs in the upper house and then a little later in the main house.
