Good things happened this week.
Firstly, Mozi the painter returned and painted all of the Hardie Primeline cladding. He got the whole lot done in a day.
The chosen colour is “Cream Maiden” from the Taubmans range. Needless to say, Maryanne is the colour coordinator on this project. Her other half, Moi, just doesn’t have a clue.
The paint was barely dry when Robert and his team rolled up with sheets of Gyprock and rolls of insulation. Now these guys can work. It was very exhausting just watching them. I ventured on site after a few hours, to take a progress shot or two of the sheeting process, only to find that they were already into the flushing off stage.
Its Friday morning, 11am and the boys are finished. They’ve cleaned and packed away and promised to return when the main house is ready for them. Thanks guys, we are thrilled with your work.
We have been promised more progress next week. The timber for construction of the main house roof and verandahs and the staircase to the upper house has been delivered. The weather will be fine. Seeya then.
Looking great, guys ! Which one is my bedroom ?
Love to all,
John JX
