Bits and pieces.

It has been a mixed couple of weeks, as we wait for the house next door to be available again, to house our visiting tradesmen.

During that time, we have had Mozi, the painter, beautifying the barges and eaves and spraying the walls and doors upstairs with their initial coats of paint. Pics will be added next week.

Rob, the tiler arrived as well and spent a couple of days preparing and sealing walls and floors in the upstairs bathroom, laundry and toilet areas. His next visit will see those areas tiled. The tiles arrived during this week, so all is ready.

Our woodworking friends have also been busy in the lower house, finishing door frames, boxing out drainage pipes and installing lowered ceiling joists in the bathroom .

The house is now ready for the next onslaught of Gyprock installation. All the supplies for this work were also delivered during the week.

The next few weeks will be exciting as we have carpenters, tilers, painters, cabinet workers, electricians and plumbers all standing by, ready to get stuck into their jobs.
