The beds are made

We’re still working in the vegetable garden and at last, the planting beds are complete, They have been filled with soil and  planted with the bulk of our summer crop.

Jalapeno Chillies, Cayenne Chillies, Beetroot

Another view

Parsnips, Coriander, Spinach Beet

The four little pots above have pieces of Turmeric in them. We’re waiting for them to sprout in the warmth, before planting them out into the bed.

Basil, Dill, Snow Peas, Thyme, Sage, Chives, Garlic Chives, Parsley

Yam Beans (Jicama), Dwarf Beans, Golden Zucchini, Turmeric (when sprouted)

Leek, Kale, Brussel Sprouts, Garlic

We tidied up the no man’s land between us and our neighbour, out the front. We were lucky to get some free mulch, so we spread that out and planted a variety of Kangaroo Paws, as a starter.

That’s better

Ah, you’ve spied our letter box. It is our temporary one while we decide what we want for our permanent one. We seem to get a lot of bills in this one. Maybe our luck will change with the new one.
